Our Dogs

In 2006 we decided to look for a new breed of dog that we could hopefully show and that would make good family pets as we had previously kept Staffordshire Bull Terriers for over 30 years. My son suggested Chows so after a lot of thought and research we contacted breeders in England. We were fortunate in that we were able to purchase two puppies from the well known Towsushet kennels in Doncaster England and one from Akakuro Kennels also in England. Our black Bitch was bred by Karen Salter and our red boy by husband David. Our red bitch was bred by Carolyne Byrne from her Akakuro dogs. Karen and her daughter Anna have become very good friends who have given us a lot of help and advice which we are very grateful for. We would like to thank all the judges who have thought so highly of our dogs at home and on the mainland.
